Today marks
the beginning of Hurricane Season 2013. The hurricane predictions have been released, advising us what to expect stormwise. We know most of
you don't worry very much this early in hurricane season because the
"big ones" don't start rolling in until August.
This
is the time of year to start thinking about your insurance coverages.
This is the time of year to prepare your home, your business and
yourself for a hurricane catastrophe. Remember Bob's Rule of
Probability - "The odds of a hurricane striking you decrease with the
more insurance coverage you have and the better you prepare for its
occurrence."
What
is Hurricane Season anyway? According to Wikipedia: The Atlantic
hurricane season is the period in a year when hurricanes usually form in
the Atlantic Ocean. Tropical cyclones in the North Atlantic are called
hurricanes, tropical storms, or tropical depressions...
Our best advice
is to remember Bob's Rule of Probability. You can't go wrong if you
follow it. Contact us to review your insurance now, rather than after.
